I called Cory and she immediately stepped up to help me find a home. My situation was a little different in the way the purchase and closing needed to be done. As it turned out, my out-of-state lender and their chosen title company messed up the entire process. Unfortunately, the mistakes and lack of local process and MA laws caused a huge delay and almost resulted in the sellers walking away.
If it wasn't for Cory guiding me, communicating tirelessly with the seller's agent and my lender and title company, the purchase of my home would not have happened. I grew quite frustrated with the process and angry with my lender (a personal friend) but Cory remained positive, stayed on top of everything and was able to be the voice of calm and reason. I can't say enough about how helpful she was.
One last thing, the first agent I used had been an agent for 20+ years and used to live in the town I purchased in. That agent is in the next town over. It was amazing how much more information Cory had memorized about specific homes. She knew if they were on town sewer and water, when they last sold, who was the listing agent on a property, how long a house had been on the market. Cory doesn't just do real estate as a job - she lives and breathes it!
We met with Cory at our house where she patiently listened to our situation, the history of our house, and our thoughts on the sale strategy. She then offered suggestions about how to stage the house, the pros & cons about our house based on her experience with buyers in this region, and a price window that she felt would move the house. At no time did she apply pressure to us, and made it clear that we were in the driver's seat for critical decisions on the listing price, etc...
Within a day Cory had launched detailed ads of the house across numerous online venues, and she hosted an open house that drew over 15 people the first week. Throughout the time showing the house we received numerous verbal and written offers, and Cory provided guidance and recommendations on them, including insight and suggestions into complex contingency offers. Her network drew thousands of clicks on our ads and over 50 people to the house in short time.
Within our time frame we had two solid offers and ultimately sold our home in time for our move, and at a fair price. Cory's knowledge of the area and market, coupled with her ambition and genuineness that comes through to both buyers and sellers was key. We would recommend Cory for buying or selling any price home.
